Theatrical Trailer for Kevin James’ The Zookeeper

Here’s your first look at the theatrical trailer for Kevin James’ “The Zookeeper”, in which talking animals teach Kevin James how to get his swerve on and land the hot girl. Of course, we all know that the hot girl is just a red herring, when the girl he really wants/always loved is the cute brunette played by Rosario Dawson. Yeah, it’s not like this is brain surgery, folks. Anyways, this is another comedy that’s going to get killed by the critics, but will probably make a buttload of money. Why? Cause people love Kevin James, that’s why. He best not lose the flubber, though; Kevin James without the flubber just ain’t Kevin James.

In Zookeeper, the animals at the Franklin Park Zoo love their kindhearted caretaker, Griffin Keyes (Kevin James). Finding himself more comfortable with a lion than a lady, Griffin decides the only way to get a girl in his life is to leave the zoo and find a more glamorous job. The animals, in a panic, decide to break their time-honored code of silence and reveal their biggest secret: they can talk! To keep Griffin from leaving, they decide to teach him the rules of courtship – animal style.

Starring Kevin James, Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Cher, Nick Nolte, Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone and directed by Frank Coraci.

Getting you dates July 8, 2011.

I know the obvious response to a Kevin James movie…but hey I like him he makes me laugh. Not an A-list star or anything but his stuff in movies has it’s moments. King of Queens was great too. Should be a good time.
Toss in Rosario Dawson and you’ve got my ticket money :)
