Look! Over there! Just out-of-frame! Something terrifying! What is it, you ask? Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for more promotional material to drop from the upcoming prequel to John Carpenter’s “The Thing” to see what, precisely, our hero is aiming that flamethrower at. Chances are it’s something mind-numbingly terrifying, but, to be honest, I can’t say for sure. At this point, it could just be a weenie roast he’s taking issue with. Regardless, this is probably all you’re going to get until either a teaser and/or a full trailer arrives, so drink it all in and tap your feet impatiently while you’re waiting.
