This is 40’s Second Trailer

I suspect that Judd Apatow’s “This is 40” is one of those movies you’re either going to go see because you see yourself in the same situation (or has gone through it), or you’re not cause you can’t imagine what it’s like to turn 40 and the topic doesn’t appeal to you too much. For those who fall into the latter camp, my guess is they’ll end up seeing the film anyway much later on, probably after they’ve turned 40 or thereabouts, and go, “Oh, right! So that’s the appeal!” Or I could be completely wrong and 20 years old will love this movie. Doubt it, though. In any case, check out the new, theatrical trailer for “This is 40”, won’t you?

Writer/director/producer Judd Apatow (The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Funny People) brings audiences This Is 40, an original comedy that expands upon the story of Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) from the blockbuster hit Knocked Up as we see first-hand how they are dealing with their current state of life.

Starring Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Megan Fox, John Lithgow, Iris Apatow, Maude Apatow, Melissa McCarthy, Robert Smigel, Charlene Yi, and Albert Brooks.

Forty arrives December 21, 2012.
