Marvel Studios has released an official synopsis for their upcoming epic “Thor”. It’s nothing we haven’t reported on or posted numerous times before, but there is one big major change: Jane Foster, to be played by Natalie Portman, is apparently no longer a nurse, but instead is now a scientist. You know, kinda like when they made Sue Storm a fellow scientist of Reed Richards instead of just some chick he brought up in space with him? That kinda make sense. Actually, that made LOTS of sense. Turning Foster into a scientist, though? A need for grrrl power, one suspects, cause gosh, she couldn’t just be a lowly nurse now, could she?
