Just in time for Comic Con, Disney and Tim Burton have unleashed a new retro-styled poster and trailer for their upcoming “Frankenweenie”, cause what Comic Con nerd doesn’t love retro-styled stuff? But you don’t have to be in San Diego to appreciate the good old fashion story of a boy and his loving, albeit undead dog. Check it out, check it outers.

When young Victor’s pet dog Sparky is hit by a car, Victor decides to bring him back to life the only way he knows how. But when the bolt-necked “monster” wreaks havoc and terror in the hearts of Victor’s neighbors, he has to convince them (and his parents) that despite his appearance, Sparky’s still the good loyal friend he’s always been.

Featuring the voices of Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Conchata Ferrell, Atticus Shaffer, Martin Short, Tom Kenny, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Robert Capron, and James Hiroyuki Liao.
