Tim Roth Joins Hedge Fund Thriller Arbitrage

He still doesn’t know if Fox will cancel his TV show “Lie to Me” or not (though it’s looking likely), but star Tim Roth isn’t waiting around to find out. The actor has joined the cast of Nicholas Jarecki’s indie drama “Arbitrage”, about “a troubled hedge fund magnate who is forced to turn to an unlikely ally when he makes an error.”

Roth will play Michael Gower, a New York City cop who is investigating a murder. He joins a cast that already includes Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon and the ever-busy Eva Green.

“Arbitrage” starts shooting this month on location in New York City.
