Tobey Maguire Jumps for Hungry Rabbit Jump
The title of the movie may not sound like something I’d see (”Hungry Rabbit Jumps”?), but this description by Variety certainly does: “Project is described as a dramatic thriller in the vein of David Fincher’s ‘The Game.’” Now that’s something I’d like to see. While Fincher’s “The Game” wasn’t perfect, it was still pretty entertaining stuff, and it’ll be interesting to see a younger version of something similar starring Tobey Maguire (pictured, left), who will also produce the film for Endgame Entertainment, from a spec script by Robert Tannen.
More:
Endgame is the production and finance company behind the Bob Dylan biopic “I’m Not There” and “Hotel Rwanda.” Its next film, “The Brothers Bloom,” will be released by Summit Entertainment.
Maguire Entertainment has a number of projects set up at various studios including “Tokyo Suckerpunch” and “Everything Changes” at Columbia Pictures and “Hot Plastic” at Focus Features.
Maguire most recently wrapped the love triangle drama “Brothers” opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman for Relativity Media.
Spidey’s been pretty busy, it seems. Besides “Hungry Rabbit Jumps”, he’s got a little something called “Robotech” on the horizon…
