Been waiting, been waiting, been waiting.
Stay with the small companies and make it the way you want to TODD!
We already got the weak Spawn. Time for Todd's Spawn. Yes I agree don't make a Wolverine. Mediocre flick with no heart at all. WOuld love Leo in it but wont hold my breathe. Just want a good Spawm. The comics and the HBO movie are soooo good , time for Todd to show what he got on the big screen. Sam and Twitch all the way!

Well, I remember in 97 when Spawn came out, I was extremely excited. I was a huge Spawn fan, and I mean HUGE. Then I saw it. Michael Jai White was an awful choice. Spawn needed someone with a lot more firepower, acting-wise that is. Martin Sheen as the bad guy? Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez's dad? No. The only good part of the movie was John Leguizamo as the Clown. The scenes in hell were far too animated looking, as was Malebolgia and the Violator. Work out the kinks, Todd, before you try this stuff again. If it gets screwed up again, you might as well kiss your Hollywood career goodbye. This could be a bad thing, especially if the rumors I've heard about Todd McFarlane doing an Alice in Wonderland movie are true. I'd love to see his take on that, it could be incredibly dark and demented. Good luck, is all I can say, Todd, you're gonna need it.

I for one would like to see a deep dark and grungy spawn movie. ANything is possible if crap like wolverine makes 87 million. Ive always loved spawn and what I think he means by a movie that you can take your teenage date too is a movie focused more on the story aspect of Spawn than the spectacular crazy aspect. Maybe something focused around the detectives but still an influence of the supernatural. I think most comic book movies should be done this way personally. Most comic book movies suffer from having TOO much money thrown at them. While I say this, Some need the money to pull of their stories, but most merely use the money to amp up a mediocre script. I'm down for it. Let's see what he "listerally" has on the table before the snide remarks and jokes.
