Todd, the concept of this film is actually very interesting, but only for a little while!!! I that it should be focusing on his adventures more-so than other people getting rocked by spawn horror-movie style,
i for one like the fact that spawn is a hero with potential, as well as the fact that he takes on massive demons, deadly heaven assasins and giant cyborg gorillas. Including Sam and Twitch as well as others should never be a problem, just have it start out with spawn just getting out of hell, and learning of clown, cog, and maybe some big bad guy to take on at the end, and all the while Sam and Twitch are on the lead of what they think are spawn\’s acts but actually running along leads to some other demon or angel. Please, I beg you, Todd, as a fan of Spawn literally since birth, keep the story fixed on spawn!!!

Far be it for me to tell Todd what makes spawn cool…hell Todd you are the all knowing creator, but fact is the brief I just read of your movie is not the character we read about in comics…and seein a superhero kick the hell outta normal bad guys…ummm gets boring…its like superman and Lex….its just dull. Personally the Spawn ‘97 was a total tanker….you could have made it better, but don’t underplay the footing that has already been established. But PLEASE make another one I Liked seeing Spawn on the big screen.

I think that Todd should do another movie about spawn. The first one was good but I can’t imagine how good would be another with the new video effect and the new technology. But if there’s a sequel, the story should show more Spawn’s enemies, develop much more on the character, just like in the comics. But please, don’t make a movie and have in mind to being watch by kids, fans want blood, darkness.. spawn is not a friendly hero like marvel’s. I’m a fan of Spawn since I was 14 years old and still I just love this character with his black suit and red cloak. My favorite is the animated series, cause Spawn is well hidden in the shadows. Thanks to Todd, he’s put a bit of himself in my mind. SPAWN 2!! You can do it!!

Yes its tru, todd will spoil it for all the fans, i think he needs to sit down and think about who made spawn famous? him, or the millions of fans that are fascinated with spawn if it wasnt for them he wuldnt have even had an opportunity like this to make a movie, i think he owes it to the fans to put so me time and effort into it to write a good script put some money into it and get some big companies behind it and blow the new spawn movie outa the park.

First of all, anyone who puts a negative comment to Todd McFarlane’s work like I’ve been reading on some of the other sights are usually people that don’t like comics or figures. So their comments and opinions don’t mean squat to all us Spawn fans. Todd was the creator of Spawn, nobody else. So it should be his ideas and his sequel. I thought the first movie was funny as hell and good for most of the story line. Maybe in the second one if he could pull together an Overtkill or even show more of Angela, that would be dope. But any true Spawn fan, wouldn’t down an idea without at least looking at the final pic. I’ve got every Spawn comic and a crap ton of his figures. If its not Spawn then its Batman, and if its not Batman its Spawn. I’ve got a pretty widespread open imagination so nothing really dissapoints me, cause people don’t seem to realize how much work goes into a movie like that. Only Todd can make the movie, period.

Dosent he realize that this concept has already been done…. wev all watched Predator right? Its not like its a crazy concept… i just dont see how nobody would fund a big budget spawn 2…. with all the super hero movies out now… ppl are chmping at the bit for the next iron man…. or the next spiderman movies…. spawn is an iconic movie… when it came out … i think he just dosent want anybody else working on it cuz hez a selfish bastard…. and hez gunna ruine it for all of the spawn fans….. either go all out and make the movie successful… or dont make it at all and spare us while we can still put that VHS spawn back into our dusty vcrs…. if deadpool can get money… spawn damn better get sum funding… what happened to all this money he should of made from successful spidey flicks… he should be rollin….

there was a really cool movie that i think if brought into the silver screen again would make-it big. GUYVER the sci-fi GUYVER. i think if someone redone that movie w/ modern graphics it would be a hit.
