I say call it Enter the Dragon - The Revenge of Khan. And have Khan's son this time with instead, a ninja clan. He's out for blood and serious blood. But not with a bunch of ninjas standing in rows punching air. I don't mean some cheesy ninja school like on American Ninja. Something more in the line of Octogan's look. This time, the whole island has them but they don't appear until after the tournament when Tony Jaa, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, and Steven Seagal each are filmed for the movie but SEPERATELY, and so egos don't clash. Each get to win in their fights against again some excellent fighters. But this ticks off Khan's Son who sees his best men falling one by one by these four Masters. Maybe throw in Jean CLaude Van Damn for the chicks and he's with a blonde in a room getting a back massage with a butt shot. Well, you get the picture.
Day two, more of Khan's best go down. None can beat these these five masters as Tony Jaa is a late entry into the beginning. And he's the one Khan's Son is really after.
Night scene, ninjas shown climbing walls to attack each one in their rooms. They each fail. throw in some other martial artist and he could be the one to get killed. Wait, Chuck Norris might be too old on this one. Maybe they could pay for Wesley snipes to get out of jail for six months and go back. For Jim Kelley's part. He'd be the best fit all around.
The next day, Seagal is shown that Khan's SON is out to revenge his father's death and wants to offer HIM a price to help him get rid of Bruce, played by Tony. He refuses and so he's next on the hit list by Khan Jr's ninja hit squad. In this way, audiences get to see REAL Masters, not fake martial artists in this movie. They don't want just actors. They want BIG NAMES in this one. This could be practically an EQUAL to Enter the Dragon if they TRULY play their cards right and put in the RIGHT Martial Arts super stars. They just have to keep those with the big egos away from each other so they don't end up scrapping it out on set!
Sad, but true.
THIS IS WHAT WILL BRING IN THE BIGGER BUCKS! REAL STARS in each of their own lead roles in the NEW enter the dragon.
A combo of at least the TOP FIVE Masters on film. Simply keep them apart most of the time so egos don't get out of hand. They ALL are their own stars of this film. But it's dedication is TO BRUCE LEE. Not Tony Jaa. Tony becomes simply plays the part but since he's not REALLY Bruce Lee, then I personally think that it won't hurt to let the actors who have made a TRUE reputation for themselves get LEAD ROLES!
And in the end, Tony Jaa takes on Khan's Son. Seagal, Norris, Li, Van Damne are in the mean time...fighting off waves of ninjas underground, on beaches, inside the castle walls of which this new location has built into it and within the forest of the island. Khan's Son turns out to be a master Ninja and he almost kills Tony Jaa but Seagal, Norris, Li and Van Damn ALL in the end have to fight him in different rooms of a maze he sends them through. His ultimate target is LEE. But Lee turns the tables and finds a lever in the end that opens the door to the rooms of all four other masters. He just screwed himself with his own maze and traps. And he kills himself. THE END!
( Written by Patrick, a Ninjutsu Arts instructor for 10 years ) Feel free to pass this on to their directors if you feel it would be a winner and you like my idea. Or write me. Think about it. Jet Li, Seagal, Tony Jaa, Jean Claude, and Wesley Snipes and MAYBE Chuck Norris, all in ONE MOVIE. In truth, I wanted Jim Kelly to survived. I was really bummed out to see he died so soon in the movie.
The ninjas are more like those seen in the newer Ninja Assassins movie. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about. Not the American ninja type ninja that drop with one punch. That's lame. Ninja's were master fighters and they were the ones who took on ten or twenty at a time, not vice versa. They were KILLERS, and occult and they ARE of a DARK art. They were not boy scouts. They were not just men. They were hired assassins with one objective in life. TO KILL A TARGET OR STEAL INFORMATION OR SABOUTAGE AN ENEMY. All these books out today about how the ninjas were nice guys...that's just to sell the art. They were killers. The people feared them for a reason. Because they killed whoever got in their way. And they had to have that reputation for what they were born into. A life of an assassin. They lived, ate and breathed to be hired for a mission. When peace came, they faded away. I know, I taught the art and studied it for 30 years. There are FEW true ninjas today who understand this. Most view it today as just another martial art because it has been turned into just another martial art. It wasn't so in the feudal ages. The closest today to TRUE ninjas are the British SAS based on what I have researched of them or the Black Ops types. With a difference that SAS aren't hired assassins except to take down terrorists.

Own "Blood and Bone," and if they Put Jaa in I want to see the chic from "Chocolate," and the upcoming "Raging Phoneix" in it too. Or Kelly Hu, or Maggie Q. All three are hot and can actually fight. I'm against using wrestlers in movies unless they have proven themselves as actors (like Dwayne Johnson). But yes Michael Jai White as Williams would work. I'd actually like to see Scott Adkins as Roeper, and for Bolo I'd get...actually I don't know. Ohara, how about Nathan Jones or something. Music by RZA also great idea. Haan should be pplayed by Ken Watanabe or Chow Yun Fat...almost defaulted to Cary Hiriyoki Tagawa (Asian villain extraordinaire).

Tony Jaa is the perfect choice,he is the king of real fight cinema! ONG BOK 1,2, THE PROTECTER!
What about Michael Jai White (spawn) to play williams, have any of you seen his movie Blood and Bones, top shelf fight scenes. Ryan Reynolds would make a decent roper, Randy Orton could play a kick butt Ohara,he makes a great W.W.E. bad guy. Kimbo Slice or Samoa Joe could make a great Bolo, he's from T,N.A. wrestling. Hann could be played(with old age make up ,by Jackie Chan, Jet Li or the great Sonny Chiba! Get Beyonce to play the spy girl. maybe Jenna Jameson to play ropers hooker girl friend. Kick it old school with music by the RZA,he scored Kill Bill. have Stephen Chow do a cameo by getting his neck broke by bolo. Ian Mcellen could play the M.I.1 chief who hires lee.

also jet li does not have the screen presence that bruce lee had! he is small in stature--although bruce lee was not that tall either--he had stature and charisma! tony jaa is good! jet li is not right for the part. tom cruise as roper is a joke! 50 cent is ridiculous for the part!

Tony Jaa-HELL YESS recast is needed for the rest...

why they're remaking a classic is beyond me but if that's the case just call it what it is. don't just change the title and alter the storyline..this could be done but it would take some focus on key points to keep the over all feel and not be a slap in the face to true fans, the orignal movie and Bruce's legacy. Tony jaa i'm fine with. I think Jason Scott Lee(DRAGON:BRUCE LEE STORY) had his chance and Jet Li should have tried this early in his Hollywood career.... but these rumors about Tom Cruise and 50 cent reprising John Saxon's and Jim Kelly's roles are absolute bullshit and i also heard John Cena was a prospect...whoever considers this deserves a molotav cocktail thrown at them..first off Bruce's character is the star..PERIOD..this movie is gonna have the same problem it had 30yrs ago with trying to get some hollywood names casted to put people in the seats. they'll have to follow the same format they did back then by casting b-list actors because A-list stars and egos will kill the focus of the movie. also they'll need a director and producers fimiliar with Bruce Lee otherwise it's a waste. and they should get people affiliated with the original movie as consultants. The choreography is another key point to making this movie correctly. Bruce's attention to detail and perfetion and his attempt to stick to reality is what made the original so great...no jumping 40 feet in the air and flying bullshit like the other kung fu movies back then. some ideas for actors maybe Jaime Fox as Jim Kelly's/Williams role, he's diverse enough and has done action movies before his only problems would be losing the ego down and getting the martial arts aspect. he could own the acting part of it. another could be Michael Jai White as Jim Kelly's role as well. he's B-list and has martial arts under his belt. I also thought of Wesley Snipes but he'd have an ego issue and is currently in jail... As far as Roeper/John Saxon's role i considered Woody Harrelson but the martial arts background would be an issue. John Saxon was believeable in the movie because he actually was a black belt. The only other guys i could think of that might've fit would have been Robert Patrick..the T-1000 from Terminator 2 and "THE UNIT", but maybe 10yrs ago he might be too old now. Also maybe Hugh Jackman a few years ago, he's moved up to A-list recently..i just hope Hollywood doesn't fuck this up with their stupid MONEY, MONEY, MONEY commercial tactics and do this respectively and right but i got mixed feelings. again Tony Jaa is a step in the right direction...

also the rest of the cast has got to be the majority asian...not an asian rogue monk and a bunch of white guys..that's dumb shit hollywood does and the shit ain't believeable like the "the last Samurai" with Cruise's weak ass......just imagine fight scenes if Bruce Lee was still alive mixed with the movie technology of today.
