If you already saw Shane Black’s “Iron Man 3” (and really, who hasn’t seen this movie since it opened Stateside last week?), then you saw this scene where The Kid (played by Ty Simpkins) makes his first introduction in the movie — just in time, too, because it turns out Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) is in desperate need of a helping hand, having been handed, well, his ass by The Mandarin.
This is one of the film’s better storylines, though I know some people had issues with “the kid”. I’m not one of those people, in case you were wondering.
Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
“Iron Man 3” also stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale, Stephanie Szostak, Paul Bettany, William Sadler, Miguel Ferrer, and Xueqi Wang.
Currently in theaters everywhere.
