I think the Bourne Ultimatum should have won out. That was a spectacular movie. The fight scenes were incredibly well done. I was on the edge of my seat on the fight in Madrid with the one (forgot his name - the motorped thing) assassin.

Spiderman 3 was... bleh. I liked the first one, enjoyed the second one but all I can remember of the third one was him prancing around the streets. The Spiderman franchise has (had?) a lot of potential but the director mistakenly thought he was fleshing out Peter Parker by pulling the night club stunt and jazz dancing down the street. Very sad.

The big surprise is the Bourne Ultimatum, I think. I'm not sure ANYONE expected it to make that much money.

"Transformers" was my favorite of the year, too. I had a lot of expectations for that movie after being a fan for over twenty years, and it met and exceeded all of them. I'm glad it was successful, and it was quite a bargain, only costing around $150 million to produce!
