Ed Zarnawski (aka Juggernaut) lives in Bucks County PA. with his lovely wife and daughter. His likes are comic book films, action movies and the horror genre, basically anything awesome. His dislikes are anything that sucks.

    Great list, and awesome banner.

    • Juggernaut

      Thanks.

Again as with the “X-Men” list…I agree with all BUT #1 : )….great job though I am posting my “Superman” Franchise article this week…hope you enjoy!

    • Juggernaut

Thanks. I personally love the scene that I put at #1. Nolan put the ground work in at the very beginning of the movie and there was so much going on during the film that when they showed Alfred in the cafe it was a full circle kind of thing for me. What would be your #1?

      • Lazz82

Since watching the 3 films, I still think the best moment is the first 15 min. of “Batman Begins”…you see Bruce as child, BE a child. You see his relationship with Rachel, Alfred, and his father. This coupled with his parents death scene MUCH more powerful because you are invested in his father as well as him. Also what happens between Rachel and Bruce as well as Alfred and Bruce in subsequent films, this 15 min. makes the ENTIRE trilogy much more emotionally stunning on alot of levels.

Yeah holidays put my Spider-Man list to the back for a bit. But just have to rank things first, maybe change one or two.

Work sucked for me the last 2 weeks plus I am having wisdom teeth problems (i know TMI)..but it’ll be done in the next day or so…Excited to get back into the game.

    • Juggernaut

@LAZZ82 & Dedpool- I’ll be looking for both.

Good list, even if I´m not that much of a fan of Nolan´s Batman interpretation. The biggest problem for me is you pick No.7: Two Face was introduced way too late in “the Dark knight”, therefore had less to no screentime and the CGI-job on his face was terrible and took me right out of the movie everytime I´ve seen it.

    • Juggernaut

As with any list there were several other moments that were included that were cut during the drafts. I liked how Two-Face was handled. I do agree that he didn’t get enough screen time.

  • Aegon the Conqueror

I still think Bruce died in that explosion.

And for Batman leaving Gotham? NO WAY!

Great list. The #1 is going to be debatable and controversial. People either love it or hate it. Personally I loved it. Sure it goes against everything we’ve known about Batman, but the real world soon Nolan put on it made a lot of sense. He made Bruce Wayne human, not extra-human. Peak human is one thing but the damage he takes really would take it’s toll. And I applaud Nolan Godot taking a chance and thinking outside the box. The whole trilogy was well put together and nothing seemed done just for the sake of spectacle but was always story driven. All that said, I love the scene where he gives his “origin” love the fact that he never told the same story.

Though it may be debated it is MY favorite scene. They didn’t even need to cut to Bruce. Alfred’s expression said it all. Nolan should have pulled an Inception style ending there and left us all hanging.

Indeed! I will be getting the trilogy on Blu-Ray myself.

  • Lexavi80

Holly shit! I never realized how similar is the Interrogation scene with the beginning of The Killing Joke!!

  • Green Machine

even though it was really cheesy, the # 1 scene really made me happy. what a great ending.

Great list. Especially adding the sewer fight between Batman & Bane.. classic. A scene I should of been added to this list though, was in “The Dark Knight” during the Joker’s jail break scene. He was so meticulous and calculated. He wanted to be captured so he could then break out and execute his plan. The part where he’s riding in the back of the stolen cop car right after the escape from jail with his head sticking out the window taking in the air while the soundtrack is muted was amazing.

    • Juggernaut

That was a great scene. Like I said, there were a lot of great moments but only ten spots. Maybe I’ll do a “10 more Dark Knight Trilogy moments” list! Lol. JK
