Eighties Goodness

If you grew up watching cartoons during the eighties then you’ve no doubt noticed how some of that period’s most beloved shows are now being turned into Hollywood blockbusters. What with the sequel to the Transformers movie and GI Joe coming to theaters soon, and Thundercats and Voltron just looming over the horizon, those of us who’re wetting our pants in anticipation will have more than enough to aid in our reversion to childhood. I would definitely choose Moon Dreamers as a movie based on the 80s toy of the same name. I saw the cartoon when I was 11 years of age and I really liked Crystal Starr and Whimsey as the favorite characters. Moon Dreamers is definitely a contender for the near future.

watched MASK and some Silverhawks, only knew Gobots by name and didn’t even knew about the Visionaries and the Spiral Zone but for me back then the 2 best were:

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors (has not aged well except the opening)

The Mysterious Cities of Gold (still watchable today)
    Ulysses 31 was good too

Sectaurs was pretty badass! I wouldn’t mind at least an animated reboot of that, a film would be like Avatar with Bugs!!!
