Trailer #2 for Taking of Pelham 123 Remake

If the first trailer for Tony Scott’s “The Taking of Pelham 123″ didn’t excite you, maybe this one will. There are a lot of new footages, and the new trailer takes a more character-oriented approach to the two main guys — Denzel’s civil service schlub and John Travolta’s hostage-taking maniac. I kinda like it better than the first one myself.

Denzel Washington stars as New York City subway dispatcher Walter Garber, whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos after a group of hijackers led by Ryder (John Travolta) take a subway train and its passengers hostage.

Starring John Travolta, Denzel Washington, James Gandolfini, John Turturro, Luis Guzmán, Jason Butler Harner, and Brian Haley. Tony Scott (”Deja Vu”) directs. The script is by Brian Helgeland, who is no stranger to good crime movies (”Mystic River”, Scott and Washington’s “Man on Fire”).
