Marcel Langenegger’s “Deception” originally went by the title of “The Tourist”, then changed it to “The List”, before finally settling on the somewhat generic (and very direct-to-cable erotic thriller’ish) “Deception”. Fortunately, after seeing the film’s trailer (below), I gotta admit that the title actually fits the content of the film. That is, an erotic thriller-turned-heist flick starring Ewan McGregor as a nerdy business accountant who gets lured into a sex club by Hugh Jackman and a surprisingly very seductive Michelle Williams. As it turns out, he’s being played, and Jackman isn’t who he says he is. And if that’s not enough, Maggie Q. co-stars in her biggest and sexiest Hollywood role to date.
