Fox Walden has released the first trailer for their third “Narnia” film, “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”, which reunites those indefatigable English orphans with the magical land of Narnia, where things like talking lions, sword-wielding mouses, and Universal Health Care are possible. Wait, what? No Universal Health Care in Narnia? Oh well, at least they have talking lions and sword-wielding mouses. Those are cool. Check out the fist trailer for the franchise’s first 3D offering below.
Lucy and Edmund Pevensie return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace where they meet up with Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), now a King, for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.
Starring Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Will Poulter, Bill Nighy, Gary Sweet, Arthur Angel, Tony Nixon, Shane Rangi, Colin Moody, Terry Norris, David Vallon, Bruce Spence, Bille Brown, Liam Neeson, and directed by Michael Apted.
The Dawn Treader sails December 10, 2010.
