Holy crap! I’ve been lunchin’ on the Jet Li front. While I wasn’t looking, it would appear that boatload of new promotional material has manifested itself on various genre-friendly websites. Below you’ll find an abundance of character posters for “The Sorcerer and the White Snake”, as well as a spiffy new trailer and a music video. What more could you ask for? Not really sure how the “It’s Love” thing fits in, so, for now, I’ll pretend it’s not there. Yes, I’m pathetic.

In case you’ve forgotten what the film is about, here’s a synopsis:

White Snake (Eva Huang), in the incarnation of a beautiful lady, falls in love with a young herbalist Xu Xian (Raymond Lam). With the help of Green Snake (Charlene Choi), she ventured into the human world and got married to Xu Xian. In a twist of event, Fa Hai (Jet Li), a sorcerer from Jin Shan Temple, crosses path with White Snake. A fiery battle is about to begin.

Tony Ching Siu-tung’s “The Sorcerer and the White Snake”, which also stars Eva Huang, Raymond Lam, Charlene Choi, Wen Zhang, Vivian Hsu, and Jiang Wu, opens in China on September 29th, 2011. All of the goodies reside below.

The trailer looks like the movie I was hoping to get based on the poster of “2012″ featuring the tidal wave coming over the mountain in front of a Buddist monk
