Dang. So apparently when they slapped the tagline “The rules have changed” on all the posters (including the new one below for Optimus Prime) for the upcoming “Transformers” movie, they totally meant it. Apparently after that whole Chicago shenanigans in the last flick, the Transformers disappeared, along with Sam and his super hot girlfriends (and I don’t recall either one of their names). Thank God Marky Mark and his super hot daughter are here to save us, just in time, from the looks of it, from yet another alien armada invasion.
Damn, why don’t these alien armadas leave us alone? We just wanna live! Anyways. Check out the brand spanking new trailer for Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction” below.
In the film, Mark Wahlburger plays a Texas mechanic (his second Texan character in a roll, following up “Lone Survivor,” because obviously when you think “good ol Texas boy,” you think, er, Mark Wahlberg) who, along with his daughter, make a discovery that brings Autobots and Decepticons – and a paranoid government official – down on them.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Peter Cullen, Glenn Morshower, and Kelsey Grammer.
It’s on (again) this June 27th.
