They’re back! And they’re more dangerous than ever. Or at least, they’re going to try to blow up even more stuff the fourth time ’round. After all, why would Michael Bay return to direct a movie about invading alien robots from outer space if he couldn’t blow even more stuff up than before? Damn skippy. Man’s got a reputation to uphold, after all.
Check out a new viral video linking the fourth movie to the third one, and a foursome of new posters for the sci-fi actioner. Apparently Earth is in danger of being lost to humans. Or somethin’.
TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is the fourth film in director Michael Bay’s global blockbuster franchise. The film begins after an epic battle that left a great city torn, but with the world saved. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history… while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans, Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. In an incredible adventure, they are swept up in a war of good and evil, ultimately leading to a climactic battle across the world.
Starring Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Bingbing Li, Titus Welliver, and TJ Miller.
Keeping an eye out for those pesky Transformers this June 27th.
