Transformers Animated Series Teaser Poster

The Powers That Be are so convinced that Michael Bay’s “Transformers” is going to clean up at the box office that they have already commissioned an animated TV series to be launch in early 2007. Now, the guys over at Seibertron has your first look at the teaser poster for the animated series. It shows five Autobots (the good guys), including Optimus Prime, Bulkhead, Ratchet, Prowl, and Bumblebee. Rumor is that the TV series will follow the storyline of the movie, and will have just the five Autobots for now.

No word on which Decepticons will make it into the show. I guess that would depend on which ones survive the movie.

“Transformers” the live-action movie hits theaters July 3rd. The animated series won’t show up until next year.
