Love me some zombies. If you feel the same way, you’ll get a kick out of these character portraits for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 2. Sure, the show is now Frank Darabont-less, but I still have faith. Or at least, until the show convinces me otherwise…

The premise of the new cop show “Unforgettable” is pretty basic: “She can do anything but forget.” See, because Poppy Montgomery’s character has perfect memory, which comes in handy because she can remember everything, especially when she’s at a crime scene. It sorta makes having to carry around a pen and notepad to jot down notes moot. She’s kind of like a superhero, I guess. A really tall, hot, redheaded superhero, anyway. Promo images and video for “Unforgettable” after the jump.
Hmm, a show about the Playboy Club? About the young, uh, nubile ladies working at said club for the magazine Playboy? What could possibly go wrong? Yeah, I don’t see this show lasting past its first season, but until it does get canceled, here are some spicy Season 1 promo images featuring the cast, which happens to include the gorgeous Amber Heard, who usually does movies, but is apparently taking a little detour into TVland for some reason. Not complaining, though. Nope, not one bit.
“The Vampire Diaries” has got a lot going for it. Despite being on the CW, it’s a surprisingly good show. Okay, that’s kind of a backhanded compliment — but not really. Let’s face it, the CW just doesn’t have that many good shows. Anyways, one of the main reasons to watch “Diaries” is definitely Kat Graham. Don’t believe me? Find out why below.
Jessica Alba wasn’t always a movie star. She used to be a TV star. Well, for a season or two, anyway. The show didn’t really last that long, even though it had James Cameron as its creator and producer. I mean, the guy can get anything made for a gazillion bucks, but he couldn’t keep the show on TV. Which was weird, but there you have it. The best part about Jessica Alba’s “Dark Angel” TV show, though? Duh. It’s Jessica Alba. Here are some old school promos featuring the gorgeous Alba. If you thought she was hot now, man, she was some kind of hot back “in the day”…
There’s always a good reason to re-visit old, canceled shows. “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is one such show. It’s got it all — hot girls, great action, great comedy, and cool monsters. Not scary monsters or anything, mind you, but pretty cool ones. Plus, the writing was tops. And did I mention the hot girls? Choice shots of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, Emma Caulfield, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Amber Benson after the jump.
Man, “Once Upon a Time’s” got one hell of a great cast, and the premise ain’t bad, either. Too bad it’s not going to last past the first season. I’d be shocked if it did, but I just don’t see this type of show capturing the majority of TV watchers’ imaginations, which is odd to say given the show’s very imaginative premise. And you need lots and lots of eyeballs on primetime TV to keep going. It might end up becoming a cult hit, though. Hey, I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
Sure, HOUSE season 7 had its issues, and it could have been better … but maybe season 8 will be better. I’m hoping this is the final season. As much as I love “House”, for some reason the show just doesn’t have that repeat viewing factor. I think it’s because it’s just so House-centric, that it doesn’t allow for a lot of “filler” episodes. Or maybe that’s just me. Anyways, check out the latest HOUSE Season 8 posters, playing out House’s upcoming prison stint.
A show about plane flight attendants? Or, er back when they were still called stewardess, were all women, and looked super hot? Yup, that’s the premise of the new ABC show “Pan Am”. Gotta say, I wasn’t one of those people waiting with bated breath for the show, but it certainly has a great cast of lovely ladies, and the tone of the show is very guilty pleasure-heavy. Season 1 promo images, poster, and preview trailer below. “Pan Am” takes off September 25th, 2011.
Hannah Simone is a former fashion model who plays a hot model in the new Fox show NEW GIRL, starring Zooey Deschanel as her funky roommate/best friend. Yeah, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that casting Hannah Simone as a model is kind of a no-brainer. Call me crazy.
Not the biggest fan of the GLEE show on FOX, but I hear tell you kids love this stuff, so here you go, promo images featuring some of the gals from the upcoming third season of “Glee”, the show about singing and dancing and more singing and dancing and such. The best part about the show is how they don’t even try to pretend the actors are of actual high school age, heh heh.
The charming mystery writer and the classy, high-fashioned New York Detective returns for season 4 of CASTLE September 19, 2011. Yeah, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that Kate Beckett is still alive at the beginning of Season 4, regardless of what the promo videos below are hinting at. Call it a hunch, but I doubt they’re going to kill off Stana Katic, like, EVER.
Hey, look, kids, House is in prison! Well, after driving his car through Huddy’s house last season and then running off to some tropical island, I suppose this is his punishment upon coming back home. Love the fact that they’ve added Odette Annable (formerly Odette Yustman) to the cast. Or at least, for the prison segments. Check out a fresh poster and some clips from the upcoming season below. “House” returns for Season 8 October 3rd.
First season promo images and a couple of trailers for ABC’s latest drama “Revenge”. It’s, uh, it’s got an interesting premise, but I don’t know what kind of audience it’s going to find on network TV. The whole serial nature of the show also seems like it could run out of steam pretty fast. But hey, maybe I’m wrong and it’ll run 10 years, who knows.
One of my most anticipated shows of 2011 is easily CBS’ crime procedural PERSON OF INTEREST, which, if the network gives it a chance (that is, instead of yanking it too quickly) could end up being a great show. It’s certainly got a cool cast, including James Caviezel doing TV work for the first time, and that guy from “Lost” playing a slightly kooky rich guy. Promos for the upcoming Season 1 below.
