No word on what Starz will be calling their upcoming third season of SPARTACUS (the first season was SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND, while the second season was SPARTACUS: VENGEANCE), but the show has already cast three new beauties to its line-up of brawn and beauty.
The most famous of the three is Anna Hutchison (above), who was recently seen in the Joss Whedon horror film “The Cabin in the Woods”. Hutchison will be playing Laeta, “the privileged wife of a Roman dignitary who becomes entangled in the struggle against Spartacus.”
The New Zealand actress will be joined by Australia’s Jenna Lind (bottom, left), who will play Kore, a “loyal slave to Marcus Crassus (played by Simon Merrells), the Roman tasked to bring an end to Spartacus and his rebellion.”
Hutchison’s fellow New Zealander Gwendoline Taylor (bottom, right), meanwhile, will play Sibyl, “a beautiful young slave rescued from Roman cruelty.”
If the previous two seasons are any indication, you can expect to see a lot of all three gals on the show. If you know what I mean, and I think you do.
