I can’t decide whether or not to watch the movie. I want to see it because i’m in love with the book and scared the movie will ruin it. Also I can’t imagine Robert Patterson (no offence) fitting the profile of Edward but what human can be so perfect to look like Edward? Hmm maybe they’ll make an anime…

Cortnie on November 13, 2008 |Edit This

Seriously. I dont care if you think the movie will ruin the book for you, go see it! You have to know that there is no way for them to pick characters that look like we all imagine them. Its impossible. And yeah, its probably not going to follow the plot exactly. they never do. But i think you have to watch it as if there was no book. Because if you compare the two, you will just ruin a good movie for yourself. So I say, suck it up and watch the movie, you know its going to be amazing.

okay, i agree with the below statement. who can be Edward, honestly? who could look better then a greek god? or better yet… freakin SPARKLE!! yah, not you. uh huh… be jelous… yah i dont agree much with the choices made in this movie to portray the characters, i just dont think it will make it as good as it deserves to be. i’m sure they will do an awesome job, and the movie might be acceptable, but come on… any twilight fan will know that if we cant find an Edward, hollywood wont either. and if they do… i’m kidnapping him.

OMG I AM ALSO SCARED TO SEE THE MOVIE!!!! BECAUSE I DONT WANT IT TO TOTALLY RUIN WHAT I THINK ABOUT THE BOOK AND DISSAPOINT ME!!!!!!! : (

siked! on October 16, 2008 |Edit This

omg i love the books to DEATH! but i disagree with their choices to play the characters. edward is hard to find but i think they did a fair job in finding him. but BELLA OMG they could have done so much better….

Yeah. I have a feeling I’ll be really disspointed with the movie.
I almost don’t want to see it and just keep the images that I have in my imagination.
And…Jasper looks wrong, like a LOT wrong, to me.
I think the only person they picked at all well…was Dr. Cullen.

I think the movie is going to be great, and the choices for the characters are great. If you don’t like them, then don’t see the movie!!!! I definitely didn’t want to see the same old actress in the movie. They couldn’t have portrayed Bella any better than Kristen Stewart

Andra on November 3, 2008 |Edit This

i think the characters skin should have been more white, but this is just a photo shooting so i guess there’s no harm done…

: - )! on November 3, 2008 |Edit This

I pictured Edward a lot different. but I guess there will never be a perfect Edward but that would be awesome if there was.
I don’t think Jasper looks right. maybe it’s his hair idk.
I also pictured Bella differently.

I don’t want to watch the movie because I’m scared it will ruin my love for the book. I’ve read the series like five times. Hopefully the actors will perceive the characters right.
o and I don’t like Jacob sorry (in the book Edward is a better choice).
All in all im glad i can match a face with the character(like Alice and Carlisle).

I totally agree with “:-)!”.
And none of them are even that pale.
I’m, literally, paler than that.

Jicky Pheen on November 15, 2008 |Edit This

How pale are you? Because I think they are the perfect amount of paleity.

Alice on November 5, 2008 |Edit This

ive red the books during suzmmer holiday and i love them soo much!!!
i was completely happy when i learned that there would be movies!!

i think that robert pattinson is the PERFECT edward… but i don´t like kristin stewart..

To those who love the book and are wary of seeing the movie:
I know that book-to-movie very rarely works, so before going to the movie I will tell myself that this is the MOVIE, not the BOOK; if it’s bad, I’ll still have the book in all it’s glory, and I can view the movie as a movie of it’s, sort of separate from the book. If the movie is good… well then bonus, right? :)

But Edward is way hot, in both the movie and the book. I loved him as Cedric. Bella is annoying (I don’t find her acting very believable).

Jo Saindon on November 17, 2008 Subscribed to comments via email |Edit This

I’m definitely a lot paler than any of them.
They practically look tan, compared to me. And they are not supposed to be tan.
I thought they’d be, like, white-pale. Like me. Haha
