I want my #^@%!^$ money back. That was the most RIDICULOUS acting I have ever seen in my life. Kristen… WTF?!! THAT was your interpretation of Bella?! Hint: ENOUGH with the scoffing. Bella does not scoff that much. And all you people who thought the movie was great… WHAT MOVIE WERE YOU WATCHING?! Because it couldn’t have been Twilight! It was atrocious. Stephenie Meyer should sue Hollywood for totally butchering her book. I am thoroughly, completely, PAINFULLY disappointed. Watching the movie just ruined the story for me. The second movie had better be good. Hopefully with this new director, he’d do a better job. Maybe he can get the actors to go back to acting school or maybe have them read the damn book… I mean, COME ON!!

I was very dissapointed, with everything building it up i thought it was going to be waaaay better. I understand that the book and the movie are never going to be the same, but really, they could have done MUCH better. If i haven’t read the book before i probelly wouldn’t know what was going on at all. I brought my friend (who hadn’t read the book… yet) and i had to explain what was going on all the time. Yes, the Robert Patterson was hot, but he seem in pain… alll the time. He didn’t even seem to like bella. Speaking of Bella, what were they thinking ?!?! No offence to Kirsten, but the acting could have been much better. She didn’t look slightly intrested at all, even bored at parts. Bella is supposed to be acward and clumsy, someone people can relate to, and i didn’t get that form her at all. Plus they change so many tings, how bell found out, how bella told edward she knows, ectt.. i could go on forever.

I was just expecting alot more from it. Even though i didn’t love it, i still will probelly buy it, i mean, mabey its the type of movie that you have to whacth more than once to get it… like The Other Boylen Girl.

I did love the baseball part though, they did AMAZING!! They showed the vampires abilities greatly, and the song was perfect

too much expectation thats the correct word to describe….i think fare and square the movie made a point. Critism is also good for them to make it better on the next two movies. It is indeed an understatement books and movie are a different thing, cannot be compared. Robert looks good and technically hot. I watch the movie 7th times already and again, i am indeed satisfied. We are two different person we cannot compare what one’s gravity of satisfaction. To all haters of twilight well goodluck to you…

the book was DEFF better than the movie. the movie was not bad tho … yes, it could have been better if they added more of the book and its emotions into the movie becayse as of now, it felt lyk i watched a trailer. the movie was just clips here and there and unless you read the book, you really didnt get what was going on. i hope the next movies are good. i still love twilight the book and twilight the movie. i saw it twice and will buy it once it comes out on DVD. peace

Ihave watched the movie and got quite disappointed… Some of my friends highly recommended the book for me to read.. I wasnt able to read book yet but here are the things that I found out while watching the movie….:

Its main audience are high school students…
the acting? horrible….
flow of story? confusing especially for me who haven’t read the book..
actors? well they are good looking.. i think that’s what most of the audience like….

I was really bored on how the story goes in the movie… Eventhough there were people shouting in the cinema, i was still wondering what made them shout… hmmmm… I think it was edward… most of them are young GIRLS AND gays…

well as a movie goer, its not a good film that i can consider…. I just hope if they will make another movie it would be better and try putting consideration on how the story flows….

I will also like to insert here the HARRY POTTER movie and book. Ive read some of the comments here.. In harry potter if you have been reading the books then normally you would be disappointed.. But nevertheless, considering only the movie you would be amaze on how the movie flow.. How each scene is so good that even a movie goer who hasnt read the book would be amaze…. thats what im looking for.. regardless of whether you have read the book or not that at the end of the film you feel satisfied and not confused….

yeah, u’re right..ok,i know we shouldn’t compared the movie with the book or anticipate it to be exactly like the book..but c’mon..of couse the hard fans of the saga going to be judgementl about this movie..at least,please do the chronology of the movie like in the book..not twisting around,adding new stuff..bella in the movie was totally different from the book..she wasn’t the independent or brave girl like in the book..n she actually enjoyed to go to the prom?! I thought she threw a fit when edward took her there..i just wish the movie focused more on both of them..n since when rosalie got more part than alice?grr..alice should be the one who talks more to bella..anywat rob pattinson pictured edward perfectly..that was something..he was good..

well…i’m hugely disappointed with the movie (especially the acting and the way it’s been directed by Catherine Hardwicke). can’t blame them though if they can’t squeeze all those pages into the movie. but they should have been CONSISTENT with the details from the book. like, Billy Black’s lower half of the body was supposed to be paralyzed. why on earth would he be driving? and wasn’t the quilleute’s legends supposed to be a secret? yet you can find a book on it published and bought by bella in the movie. the damage has been done, so there’s nothing left to do (aside from whining) but to say…

PLEASE DO JUSTICE TO NEW MOON!!! all the books have the potential to become great movies, make it worth our while…and money. PLEASE!!!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart both look like deformed hydrocephalitic inbreds. Every time the trailer plays on TV and their enormous misshapen skulls fill the frame, I throw up a little. These are some of the ugliest leads I’ve seen in *any* movie. SO disappointing!!!

i’m from Aus too and i can’t wait for the movie!
if you are going to see a movie based on a book you can’t expect everything to be in it! sure, scenes of twilight that everyone considers important have been cut, but what the hell! we get to see it on the big screen and its like every girls dream come true! just live the moment and savour it! don’t complain about it!

I SO CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE REGARDLESS OF BAD REVIEWS! IT’S TWILIGHT FOR GOODNESS SAKE! WHO COULD WAIT????!!!!

The movie was NOT good.. I knew not to expect much, but wow i expected more than that. Everything was rushed, bella barley said a word she just blinked her eyes way too much..it seemed like they were mad at each other most of the time. the characters looked the part, and im not sure that they were bad actors, they just didnt have good direction. Im glad i saw the movie, but if i hadnt of read the books, i would have been like “what the heck, this is a movie, why?”

Forgot to tell you that The Movie is Excellent and could not HAVE been better. I absolutly LOVE IT so I’m going to tell all my friends to go watch the movie with me again. I know at least 2 of them will. And I’m Telling ANYONE OUT THERE THAT HAS A MIND GO WATCH THE MOVIE AGAIN OR TWILIGHT WILL DIE AS SOON AS IT HITS THEATERS!!!! I’ve read the books several times all ready. And nothing could of made it better.

“Twilight” was not one of the best movie they could of possibly made but it was not a terrible movie either. At the beginning it didn’t seem to make much sense but it got somewhat better. You might say, “Wow she’s one of those teenage girls not seeing the movie carefully because she’s going all crazy over Robert Pattinson”. But that not all I saw,even though He Is HHHHOOOOOTTTTTT!!! Kristen was Bella she played her as best as she could. Cause NO CAN PLAY BELLA OR EDWARD AS PERFECT AS Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson could of! And yes I have read all the books and I even have them and read them when I have time. The music for the movie could of also been a little better but it is great. Paramore and Linkin Park was amazing and some other songs.Supermassive Black Hole perfectly fitted the baseball scene which was AMAZING!! I think Robert Patttinson is WONDERFUL and Kristen Stewart is a GREAT actress. Other wise this movie is OK. P.S. Edward and Bella could of never ever been played better then they were by Rob and Kristen.

all i have to say about the movie: disappointing. they didn’t stick to the story in the book. things were changed and hurried through. one of my favorite lines was cut in half and put in a different spot. i understand that you can’t fit every single little detail into a movie when taking it from a book, but that looked like the director never even read the damn book. definitely NOT worth the small amount of money the spent on it.

plus, the could’ve gotten a hotter guy for edward. he was DEFINITELY not up to standards i think. plus the girl who played bella stuttered too much. it was really annoying. bad, bad casting…

hopefully the get a new director for the next movie, we can only hope so.

Honestly, I didn’t really like the movie. It was pretty bad. I have to admit that, they didn’t have a very big budget to go on and that was the best they could do with WHAT THEY HAD but I still think that they could’ve done so much better. Bella, played by Kristen, was just too awkward and Edward, played by Rob, looked stiff and plain weird at some angles. Although I must admit that the Cullen cast looked pretty awesome together in the cafeteria scene, some of the extra people were just unnecessary. The only REALLY good scene during the movie was probably the Baseball Scene. That part of the film was amazing, the song Supermassive Black Hole fit there perfectly. The movie was nothing compared to the book but it was good in some way. The scenes did NOT flow like a story at all, it just looked like a bunch of scenes from the book put together to make a 2 hour movie. But nonetheless, it is an okay movie. I don’t think that it was great but it’ll have to do until the next movies come out. And hopefully they’ll be better.

I think the Twilight movie was good. I thought it could have been better. The beginning of the movie was so fast and hard to understand, along with other parts of the movie. I thought the love between Bella and Edward in the movie could have been better. The music was okay. But just visually seeing the book made into movie was a cool experince! For all the Twilight fans, the book is always going to be better than the movie! So quit hating on the movie so much!

i am an obsessive Twilight fan and i saw the movie at the midnight premier with some friends. i went in expecting a disappointment and lousy acting.

why did i expect this, you ask? lol well basically because the books are so fantastic that i couldn’t help but feel that it was almost impossible to portray the characters perfectly on screen.

i came out of the movie feeling how i expected to. don’t get me wrong, there were some utterly dazzling (yes i said dazzling =] ) moments, but not necessarily as good as it should have been. i wanted to walk out with a new favorite movie and with a desire to see it again 387465 times. i AM in fact seeing it again but only because my best friend hasnt yet seen it (and i will get the chance to reevaluate).

what really disappointed me was the choice of kristen stewart as bella. she could not for the life of her portray bella (in my opinion). she needed to be… more timid, more delicate. she didn’t show the desperate longing or desire that bella felt. she didnt show the hurt and despair she needed to at the prospect of edward leaving her. from kristen i got mediocre acting. she didnt show enough emotion – especially when she was telling charlie she was leaving. that was a huge disapointment.

also, the meadow scene. the coveted, romantic, heart-pounding scene that was ultimately the turning point in the book and in their relationship was turned into a hasty scene with rob throwing things at trees and yelling. i didnt feel the passion. i didnt feel the anxiety of their relationship. i didnt feel the COMMITMENT.

but what can you do? i never expected it to live up to the book. there was more clapping when the harry potter 6 trailer came up in the previews than when the movie ended. not saying it was HORRIBLE…….. it just needed a bit more work, better acting, and A BETTER DIRECTOR. geez don’t get me started on that lol

but yeah. my face coming out of the theater was crumpled in confusion. was that really worth all the hype? in a way … yes. in a way … definitely NOT.

oh well. hopefully they get their act together for books 2 – 4 or there are going to be some angry Twi-Hards out there, myself included

wow i completely agree with everything you said. i mean, the movie was OOOOOOOOkay…. but it certainly wasn’t up to par. definitely better off reading the book and being able to delve into the characters’ feelings rather than being thrown into a messy plot with random mood swings

(comments)…well if you compare harry potter book and the movie ofcourse every detail of it couldnt be in the movie itself but the harry potter movie itself was amazing! acting was perfect, direction and everything.. u wouldnt hear people laugh at bad acting… meanwhile twilight was supposed to be the most awaited movie for many, they could have done better.. practiced more on how they were supposed to act! LOL and ofcourse the actors are not the characters itself in the book but they’re supposed to be paid GREAT amount of money to be able to portray characters other than themselves. thats why they are called ACTORS… but most of the actors in twilight movie just did not know how to act at all!
