also… what was the point of renessme.. if you are going to stop so soon.. and i also feel we havemt gotten to see that much of the cullens.. tehy keep cutting the good stuff out..

like the airport scene in the first movie.. wth lol

AND the other airport scene with alice and jasper.. heeellllllllooo i want cullen!!

you know.. ive thought of this for a while now. but whats stopping stephanie from writing a 5th book? lol.. like people say there are still SO many questions un answered. reneseme, her and jacobs relationship… the cullens, the volturi…..so so so so much..

so now ive convinced myself that she is secretly writing another story to the saga haha..

unless someone has heard or seen that stephanie has said she is DONE with the saga???/

okay the first movie sucked!!…..and since its a vampire movie let me get this straight i dont mean it as a compliment. they left out scenes which i enjoyed reading so much in the book and was looking forward to seeing in the movie. for example- the scene in the car after edward takes bella to have dinner at port angeles. but instead they cut off that scene and added a different scene about where a friend of charlies dies, a character that didnt even exsist in the book! and the the first scene with edward and bella in the class room, edward looks constipated! like i love robert patterson but seriously that was bad acting. and the scene where they climb a tree!???? what the hell??…..it looks soo fake and what is the point of adding that scene??…..and angela or what ever her name is i forgot doesnt like erik…..shes meant to go out with ben!…….they completely cut that character out. it may not seem like a big deal cause its a very small part but if they dont think about little details, then all the movies going to be ended out crap, like the first movie, well in my opinion did.

I completely agree with you. The continuation of the Jacob Nessie story would be great – it is already two characters which most fans are invested in, and could include Bella, Edward & the rest. A big take down of the Volturi (which should have happened in BD) would be fantastic. I think a movie is probably the best choice.

My concern with doing a tv spin off is keeping the same actors. The cast have become big names, and are receiving lots of offers. I don’t think you’d be able to get all of them to sign on to do tv, which would mean replacing some of the original actors, which is never as good.

If X-Men can do origin movies, why not Twilight? The Cullens all have interesting pasts, work through that and you’ve got 7 new movies.

I have to completly agree with AdultTwiAddict. The first movie sucked, although I have to admit any true fan of the book Twilight, has bought the movie and therefor the movie has made millions. Even if New Moon turns out to be bad it isn’t going to stop any fan from seeing it on release day or from buying the movie. Lets face it, the fans of twilight are addicted and obsessed. No matter what anyone says. So if everyone would realize what a hit a TV series on Twlight would be then possibly it could be done. Like you mentioned Smallville, there is like what 8 seasons? Yet it is still a huge hit! Twi fans will never stop liking anything about the true love of Edward and Bella. A TV series would just make us even more obsessed, and probably grab more attention. I see only one problem with this…Stephanie Meyer. If you wrote the twilight saga would you want someone taking it and making their own story from it. If a TV series was to come of the, or even more movies, don’t you think Stephanie would want to finish HER story. If she won’t even finish the 5th book because it got leaked shows that she wants to move on and do something different.

But there is still plenty of questions that any Twilight reader would want answered. Like how Renesemee groes up, and even the love story between her and Jacob. It could make fans almost equally engrossed as they were with the love story of Edward and Bella. Also, don’t you think that more then a few of the “witnesses” wanted the volturi taken over and killed. With Bellas shield and the help of others, it could be accomplished. And what an amazing battle that would be!

I think the saga should be continued, and I don’t care what form it takes, as long as it lives on.

if they want to extend… why not follow through with jacab and renesmee’s character. i think it would be an interesting saga as it will involve all of the characters-specially bella and edward, the lycans to the volturi clan. explore as a tv series rather than a movie so it can be produced into a series that is definitely worth watching.

The rest of the Characters- the Cullens, especially- have the possibility to be developed into extraordinary characters. Given each characters’ past- some having been vampires for hundreds of years before we, as readers, are even introduced to them- could have expansive story lines written for them. The history alone; how the Cullens met each other and how they came together as a family would be a great place to start. Granted, a story line in that vein would involve Edward, without Bella, but it would still be fascinating. I think the possibilities are endless when it comes to Twilight.

I think that they should make the book saga into a tv series. They could drag it out for years and years just like Smallville. With a TV series there is more time to develop each character more. Not just from Edward and Bella’s perspectives, but from Alice, Rosalie, Jasper, Jacob, an so on.

I really hope they remake the first twilight movie anyway because it sucked. Maybe..if Midnight Sun gets published and Summit buys the rights they could make it into what it SHOULD have been. Too much was left out of the movie to make it a viable love story IMHO.

Hopefully the rest of the movies will be closer to the actual book series and not just glossing over key points.
