Diablo Cody writing is most definitely an acquired taste, but I have to admit, I always go into her movies expecting to kinda hate them, but ending up kinda appreciating them for the quirky, out of the box film that they end up being. This was very much the case with “Juno”, and likewise with “Jennifer’s Body”. There’s nothing wrong with hating her movies, but I think if you give them a bit of a chance, you might end up liking them. Or at least, appreciating the novelty of her writing. In any case, “Young Adult” seems to have some of that quality, at least from these three clips. Judge for yourself, won’t you?
