Can’t get enough of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”? Of course not. It’s only the greatest Marvel movie ever made — until the next greatest Marvel movie ever made comes out, of course. Although I will admit, it was a pretty good time especially considering how much of a game-changer it was for the Marvel Cinematic U (and beyond).

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” arrives for digital download later this month on August 19th and on Blu-ray and DVD September 9th. Until then, check out two deleted scenes from the movie.

The first explains what happened to Marie Hill (Cobie Smulders) and her position within SHIELD. As you’ll recall, Hill sort of just shows up, you know, whenever in the movie. The second clip is a throwaway scene, though it explains how Cap got that snazzy hoodie. I wished they could have done more with Emily VanCamp’s character, but oh well.

The Russo Brothers will return to direct “Captain America 3″ in 2016.

Can’t wait til this comes out on Blu-Ray.

  • Aegon the Conqueror

This movie was in my opinion better than the Avengers.

Different kind of movie. This is why I have issues with ranking movies personally. The tone was so different it’s hard to compare. But I’d have to agree. I think Avengers is a favorite for many because of the fact no one ever thought it could happen. Seperate characters that had their own franchises coming together for one big movie. It was the cinematic version of what the originalm idea of the Justice League and Avengers comics were created for, taking loved characters and then grouping them together. Cap 2 had an amazingly well written and well told story though, backed by great acting and characters, and topped with fantastic action. GoTG just took that and ran with it!

      • Aegon the Conqueror

Well maybe it was just cause I enjoyed it more than the Avengers, which was no mean feat seeing as after that film I didn’t think any Superhero film would be able to come close and neither Iron Man 3 nor Thor 2 did.
