Why people always compare Dragonball and Dragonball Z? I like more the stories in Dragonball than the DragonballZ series, Ive watched the whole dragonball series and in the first dragonball it has more wits than the Dragonballz, and i wish they make the younger goku first before the go to the teenager stage of Goku, i think that will be more great than this, and they should stick with the anime and manga, with live animals talkings, weird bldgs, etc. I hope it dont get flop in the theaters

I agree that original Dragonball was way better than DBZ, & GT. I too would love to see lil Goku as a child. He was just so innocent & fun. As for the charater shots I’ve seen? Well to be honest, the whole DB story has been around so long that they seriously would be better off hiring some cosplayers at this point instead of real actors. Hell just about all of Asia has said “piss on your crap film!” As for me I never really got into DBZ because it followed the same plot drive as Power Rangers. I loved DB, but DBZ=mediocre to the point that I eventually just gave up when it got into GT. All I can say is, this had better be a damn good movie in general because the fanboys are already rabbid over this so far. Only the noobs will be able to save it. Who knows? It might not actually suck as a movie in general. Case in point being Jurassic Park. I saw that when I was 11 then read the book and was like OMFG where did they get this movie from? Were Kathleen Kennedy & David Koep smoking crack when they wrote the screenplay? Still is a great film & will always be a classic despite it’s total ignorance of the source material. Hopefully the Dragon Ball movie can do this as well, since we can already see just by the casting that it’s likely to fail in keeping true to source. In my humblest opinion Fox would have been better off just doing a CG version instead. With all of the psychotic hatred for this film already you die hard fans (I’m talking to all of you fat Gokus I see at ACen, AX, AI, AH, & the othe cons) might actually get Fox to pull the plug on it all together. Maybe then we could get a cool CG toon instead or maybe give Fox some time to realize how fail they are at casting a live action DBZ.

They’re all even in my opinion. Also I like DBZ the best because I grew up watching it and it’s how I got into the Dragon Ball Universe. I watched Dragon Ball to see the events that happened in it mainlly because of the Dragon Ball flashbacks and the return of Mercenary Tao in the Cell Saga also I’m pretty sure they were throughout the series. I still think Dragon Ball was good though. A CG on the big screen would definitely be cool for DBZ but they should do a new villain for it. Thought I saw one online but was one time and I don’t remember what I typed into Google. I think it was Future Trunks, Gohan, and Vegeta on the poster but it may have just been a regular DBZ poster. I don’t want any CG versions of the Saiyan, Freiza, Cell, or Buu sagas. Only the Saiyans can be in live action DBZ. No one else.

I think that they should have put goku trunks and vegeta in supersaiyan doing their best move

ok goku…:( that would just uin the movie ok then evryone woulld be pissed!! reasons being in dragon ball they never even mention the name trunks or super saiyan or even vegeta… also trunks wasnt introduced until l8 in dbz aat the returning of frieza with his dad just after the namek saga vegeta came after the raditz saga the first to turn ss was in the battle on namek with frieza they had no idea about saiyans untill raditz came and do u know wat will be the most boring thing??……..

The movies going to bite just look at the cast who the fuck picks theses people, who ever it is needs to watch the anime with sub as dubbing sucks big hairy donkey balls and read the comics.
Hollywood always does this they alter how the story should go, to try and appeal to the biggest audience. Which inevitably leads to these kinds of movies falling flat on the face? were as is the followed the true story line (seeing as this is what made millions love db and dbz) but say taken from dbz series rather than db.
it would allow them to show many of the characters with more abilities making the movie far more interesting it would also allow them to do prequels showing how goku and the rest developed in to what they are and sequels to show what the will become.
on a side note no westener should be allowed to make db. We all agree db & dbz kick ass, who made them some japanes team and who made the abomination db gt some westan team in the states (may all there drawing fingers fall of)

Okay I’m seriously getting tired of all you dumbasses who INSISTS that they make the movie the same way they made the TV show…. What the fuck is the point of that???
They’re not going to do that simply because that’s rediculous. If you wanted to watch the storyline they show presented us with, then watch the freakin show!
Look they are obviously going to change a lot of things, the main point that you close minded individuals can’t seem to grasp is whether or not it’s going to be a kickass movie. I don’t know yet personally, I’ll reserve judgement until I see a trailer. But determining whether or not you’ll like this movie based on who’s starring in it or that the storyline doesn’t follow what we already know, is rediculous. It wouldn’t be fun if we knew what was gonna happen next in EVERY DAMN SCENE and don’t say you’re gonna boycot it because you KNOW you’ll see it if you’re a true fan.
Get your heads out of your asses and stop not giving the movie a chance before you’ve even seen what it MIGHT have to offer.
