Two Images from Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight

By Nix | April 15, 2008 (9:44 pm)

Two images from the movie “Twilight” have appeared online. The film is a teen vampire-werewolf movie based on a series of Young Adult novels by Stephenie Meyer (there are four so far), and has a new girl in a new town falling for the cute boy at school — except it turns out he’s a vampire. And his entire family are vampires. And then werewolves get involve somehow. I think. Ahhh, teenage crush, it’s just so gosh darn awkward, isn’t it?

“Twilight” opens December 12, 2008.

im so disapointed
the actor you picked to play edward is horrific
not at all how anyone pictured him im sure

it would have been a way better part for him

Hello, another twilight fan :D I just wanted to say that from what i have read and seen( and i personally believe) A LOT of people love the Edward (Robert Pattison) that was chosen :D I guess they could have cast Hayden for the part but i think it would have wasted a bunch of time in hair and makeup because it would have taken a really really long time to get him looking like Edward. Robert already has his features so it is sooo much easier to work with. So i just wanted to let you know that i dont really agree with your third line “not at all how anyone pictured him im sure”. Even Mrs. Meyer loves him :D

I am a little bummed about the characters. My imagination must have been working overtime when I was reading the books….

So sad… I guess they will have to do! ! !

I think that you should (If your reading this Catherine Hardwicke) use the song fall for you by secondhand serenade. I is just like twilight from edwards point of view

I think for Breaking Dawn, you should use White Houses by Vanessa Carlton. It sounds very fitting from Bella’s point of view when she changes. [: Also, Rob is good for the part, but he’s nothing how I imagined Edward.

I didn’t originally see edward as anything like robert but in the first trailer when he says ” you really shouldn’t have said that” I KNEW he was going to be perfect. That smirk was to die for. I would have hated it if they used hayden. I love Hayden but I am glad they didnt use anyone really famous. It would have taken away from the actual movie if they would have cast a big star. I think its going to be great and I’m really excited they moved up the release date! 3 weeks less that we have to wait. PS. If you don’t like Robert as Edward then don’t see the movie, we don’t want to hear you complain.
