Two More Dark Knight Rises Clips

Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman in The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Movie Image

About a week before the film’s release, and Warner Bros. aren’t giving out clips to online sites yet. I don’t think they will, actually. Instead, they’re sending their main actors out with those clips. We’ve already seen Gary Oldman on Jimmy Kimmel with a clip, now here are two more. Anne Hathaway brought a Bruce Wayne-Selina Kyle chat to “Live with Kelly”, while Morgan Freeman showed the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” one featuring Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox. I’m really, really curious why Bruce is hobbling on that cane, and how exactly did he get like that… Given the small army of late-night shows on TV nowadays, who knows where the cast will show up next?

It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

“TDKR” stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Nestor Carbonell, and is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Rise again, for the last time, July 20, 2012.
