Two More for Clash of the Titans Remake

Louis Leterrier has added two more to his remake of “Clash of the Titans”, including another former Bond actor. This time it’s Mads Mikkelsen, the villain from “Casino Royale”, who will be joining another former Bond actor in Gemma Arterton, who we already told you was playing Io in the remake earlier this week. Also joining the cast is Alexa Davalos (“The Chronicles of Riddick”).

According to THR, Mikkelsen will play Draco, described as a skilled fighter and leader of the Praetorian Guard that accompanies Perseus (“Terminator Salvations’” Sam Worthington) on his mission to save the princess Andromeda (Davalos), who has been captured by Hades, the god of hell. During his mission, Perseus will be aided by Arterton’s Io, who helps out with a familiar winged horse.

Leterrier will direct from a script by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay for Warner Bros. The production start date is sometime in April over Across the Pond in the UK.

Below: Talk about beating the boys back with a stick! Ahem.
