Two More Images from Stiller’s Tropic Thunder

Two more fresh looks at Ben Stiller’s return behind the camera, the movie about the movie about the Vietnam War, “Tropic Thunder”, have surfaced online via Rope of Silicon. And yes, one of the pictures show Robert Downey Jr. in his black paint. Man, that’s gonna cause a lot of problems, huh? I bet Stiller never anticipated all the hoopla that’s going on about it. Sounds a lot like a great gag gone terrible wrong. We’ll see as the movie’s release grows closer.
Through a series of freak occurrences, a group of actors shooting a big-budget war movie are forced to become the soldiers they are portraying.
Look how much fun these guys are having. I can’t believe they get paid for this. Where can I sign up?

Sounds hilarious and not offensive art all. What about a little movie called WHITE CHICKS? What about The countless black comedians who do a “nerdy white guy” voice. That’s beside the point. The point is it’s a terrible climate for comedy right now. PC has become the new prejudice. Gone are the days of Blazing Saddles and comedies that had balls. Good for Tropic Thunder.
