Which can only mean that Mr. Zombie has once again updated his Myspace page with two new pictures from his upcoming movie. Both stimulating pics after the jump.

Rob Zombie returns to direct this follow-up sequel to his remake of John Carpenter’s horror franchise about a psychopathic mass murderer name Michael Myers (Tyler Mane).

Starring Malcolm McDowell, Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Daeg Faerch, Bill Fagerbakke, Daniel Roebuck, Mark Christopher Lawrence, Chris Hardwick, Ezra Buzzington, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, and directed by Rob Zombie.

Get creepy August 28.

The dude with the intense stare is Chase Vanek, who plays the young Michael Myers in the movie. Via the Zombster’s Myspace page.

what is laurie doingg? she looks like the ILL drug addict. seriously? this looks gross. The original took place in a hospital the WHOLE movie, and i know, i know, he’s breakingg away from the original, but seriously! this much? this is a whole new movie. completely different, the only thingg thats remotely the same are the characters NAMES, and the name of the movie. [barely]. laurie looks like hell ran over twice, and who’s takingg a picture of her in the bathroom? and wtf is she wearingg? and this apartment! WHAT?!!? completely grossness. not goingg to lie! i hope he doesn’t kill THIS movie too! lol.

I don’t wanna know whats going on there. Laurie looks as if she just became the biggest druggie in the world. I like the poster and the stuff around her, but THIS ISN’T LAURIE STRODE. Sorry, they killed her character, and hopefully the didn’t kill this movie along with her.

Have some faith. It’s Rob Zombie. I have loved his creativity so far on each of his films. Its good to see someone putting in all the time and effort to make great horror movies for us to watch. With so little horror being produced, and a great amount of that being absolute garbage, I have to put my faith in his abilities to make new and entertaining takes on old films.

but there are boundries he should obtain, hes goingg completely AWAY from the original. some things must be kept the same. i fear hes goingg to kill a classic. lol.

When Rob did Halloween, he was doing a remake but with more depth.

But he has said numerous times, his take on Halloween 2 will be without the same restrictions. In other words, it’ll be a different beast. For example, Laurie has a shrink in this film because she’s dealing with psychological trauma. Some of the rumors have claimed she’ll be “acting out” in this film, so expect a different Laurie Strode. He has also said that this film will focus more on Laurie than on Michael.

I’m expecting an entirely different film than Rosenthal’s Halloween 2.

    It may be better..

    Weirder things have happened.

And the Laurie picture above, I think it fits. Laurie was totally abused by her brother, her friends were killed, and in Halloween 2 she has to deal with all of that. Very few people would be physically and mentally healthy after something like that. So good for Zombie for being a little realistic.

i think if he is going to make this it should not be called a remake. if it was me i think i would have to bring laures son in the pic she had a son in halloween 7 or the baby that jamie had which was her daugher in halloween 4-5
and jamie diesd in the barn in 6 but she had a baby if u want to make a movie make it about them

well from what i have been reading from other websites i believe this is going to be a pretty good movie knowing its rob zombie were talking about so to state my fact i think in my 12 years of interveiwing acters directers etc. its gonna be a ok movie from what it looks like now at least.

You people are crazy..these are obviously just promo pics and not taken from the movie. And hell yeah laurie looks like shes strung out..do you not remember what just happened to her in the first movie? This picks up right after she blows his brains out. She just had most of her best friends murdered..pretty brutally. And her parents were just killed too! I dont think you would take all that so well. But i thought Halloween was a great remake and expect the same from H:2.

yeah, we get that, but once again, there are boundries. this isn’t a remake or whatever you want to call it, its a movie completely different from the original, all thats the same, are the character names. the reason Halloween was so famous, was because it scared people without a lot of gore. This movie looks lyk a typical Zombie movie, gore, gore, amd more gore. Stupid. I understand Laurie would be a little more crazy because of everything that just happened, but remember, its the saem NIGHT, so i wouldnt have set in yet, she doesnt know Mchael’s her brother yet, and she THINKS she’s killed this monster. Laurie was a famous character because despite all that had happened to her, she remained strong. Laurie looks like a class A pussy here. Excuse my French. And what? After this happens, she goes from goody good girl to hardore rocker grunge bitch? Yeah, because THAT’S really realistic. Once again, there are boundries. I’m going to see this movie, and who knows I might like it, but as far as I’m concerned, Zombie should make sequels after Halloween: Ressurection, not the original, because he’s killing things. If he continued after Ressurection, he’d have no boundries, and could go wild and “gore crazy”, and no one would care. As of now, I thin he’s killed the sequel for me.
