When I watch the trailer for “Immortals” director Tarsem Singh’s “Mirror Mirror”, I cringe. There’s something about it that makes me want to punch children. That having been said, chances are I’ll watch the blasted thing when it arrives on Blu-ray, just to see the pretty, pretty colors. Singh is an incredible filmmaker, and while I’m leery of the direction he’s head with the story, it’s sure be a visual delight. Hopefully those words won’t come back to bite me in the end.

For those who live under rocks, a synopsis:

An evil queen steals control of a kingdom and an exiled princess enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright.

Anyway, below you’ll find two new character posters for the film. Don’t get too excited, though — it’s just Nathan Lane and Armie Hammer, the latter of whom played twins in “The Social Network”. That’s for those of you who didn’t know who he was. Like me.

“Mirror Mirror” delivers poisoned apples on March 30th, 2012.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at) beyondhollywood.com.
