Two New Images from Paul W.S. Anderson’s Three Musketeers

Summit Entertainment has released two new images from Paul W.S. Anderson’s take on “The Three Musketeers”. Like most of Anderson’s movies, I expect “Musketeers” to be entertaining, but not great. One of these days he might surprise me, but I’m not holding my breath. The new take is supposed to have a more modern vibe, though still maintaining its period French setting. Check out the new pics below.

The hot-headed young D’Artagnan along with three former legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and defeat a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war.

Starring Mads Mikkelsen, Logan Lerman, Matthew Macfadyen, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Christoph Waltz, Milla Jovovich, Juno Temple, Orlando Bloom, James Corden and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

Swashbuckling their way into theaters October 14, 2011.

At the least it’ll be a fun swashbuckler, at the worst it’ll be yet another failed attempt at the muskateers. I’m betting on fun swashbuckler.
