I would like to say that Jonah Hill’s “21 Jump Street” is going to suck donkey balls, but I can’t, because it actually looks decent. Or at least it doesn’t look nearly as horrific as I thought it would when it was first announced that Sony was giving Hill an entire franchise to develop. Funny thing is, I think Hill could probably still play a high school student, but of course the idea of Tatum posing as a high schooler is just obscene, and I’m glad to see the film address it. Check out the Red Band trailer for the movie above in case you’ve been avoiding the film for fear it would destroy your memories of the Fox TV show.
Until then, check out two new posters for the movie below.
Starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Brie Larson, Dave Franco, Rob Riggle, Ice Cube, Ellie Kemper, Dakota Johnson, Johnny Simmons, Jake M. Johnson, and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The boys jump for joy March 16, 2012.
