Two New Very Colorful Last Airbender Posters

IGN‘s got two new posters for M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Last Airbender”. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that the guy with the soothing blue colors in his poster is the good guy, and the dude with the blazing fire is the bad guy. Call it a hunch.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world. Based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series, the live-action feature film “The Last Airbender” is the opening chapter in Aang’s struggle to survive.

Starring Jackson Rathbone, Dev Patel, Cliff Curtis, Seychelle Gabriel, Noah Ringer, Nicola Peltz, Shaun Toub, Jessica Andres, Aasif Mandvi, Katharine Houghton, Keong Sim, and directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

The guy with the blazing hot red poster attacks July 2, 2010.

Nice! I like em both. And no all you haters, there won't be smoke every time Aang uses his powers. There's smoke around him and the airbending is moving the smoke. If you watch the trailer they use whatever's in the environment to illustrate this, smoke, snow, dust, etc. Otherwise we wouldn't see anything.

I am excited to see this. My daughter too.

My nephews go ga-ga over it everytime the trailer shows up on TV. I'll probably end up seeing this thing twice, once to review it, and once to take them. There's really nothing better than going to see movies with kids that enjoy every second of the movie.

I know right. Even if you don't. I really hope it's good and gets it's sequels. Great source material.
