Two New Posters and a Handful of Images from Wilson Yip’s Magic to Win

Sure, it may look impossibly corny, but Wilson Yip’s “Magic to Win” is sure to be an enjoyable slice of eye candy. The previously posted teaser trailer suggests that the film isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. It seems to have the same vibe as that seriously underrated Nicolas Cage flick “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, though that may not be a good thing. Unless, of course, you secret love it. Which I do. Secretly, of course. That’s not the sort of information you want leaked.

Below you’ll find two new posters and a few magical images from Yip’s latest creation. The film, which stars Yan Ni , Louis Koo Wu Jing, Raymond Wong, and Wu Chun, opens this December. I’m almost positive that a full trailer will pop up in the near future.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)

Wilson Yip’s last movie was a big dud. This looks like it be an even bigger dud. At least knows how to keeping take it to the next level. Even if it’s in the wrong direction.
