SyFy’s encore presentation of writer Thunder Levin and director Anthony C. Ferrante’s “Sharknado” is just a few days away. In an effort to get people genuinely interested in the next viewing of this silly little endeavor, the network has unveiled a pair of new clips. You can find both of these videos embedded below.

For those who don’t spend every waking moment of their miserable lives on social media, “Sharknado” became something of a sensation on Twitter and Facebook last week. Although thousands of people claimed to be watching the movie, the flick wasn’t exactly a ratings bonanza for the folks at SyFy. However, this isn’t stopping the network from showing the movie again this Thursday.

The setup for Ferrante’s flick is relatively simple: Storms send sharks towards the coast. A series of deadly tornadoes suddenly spring up. Sharks are in the tornadoes. Our sharks. This peculiar event forces Ian Ziering and Tara Reid to launch a low-budget assault on the threats failing down from above. It’s as goofy as it sounds.

SyFy will air “Sharknado” again on June 18, 2013 at 9pm ET. Be sure to mark on it on your calendar. The latest promo clips are hanging out down there.

Todd was raised on a steady diet of Hollywood blockbusters, late-night Cinemax programming, and USA’s “Up All Night,” which may explain why his taste in movies is more than a little questionable. When he isn’t providing news and reviews for Beyond Hollywood, he can be found lounging lazily on his couch, perched in front of his television, or dwelling in places where direct sunlight can be easily avoided. He's happily married, in his 30's, and totally badass. If you'd like to reach Todd, you can follow him on Twitter or send him email/scoops to todd (at)
