Two New Trailers and a Poster for Dwayne Johnson’s Hercules

Check out two new trailers for Brett Ratner’s “Hercules,” aka the Hercules movie that doesn’t make you crinch and feel sorry for just about everyone involved in the movie. The flick stars the musclebound Dwayne Johnson as the musclebound half-man, half-God superhero of Greek legend. He’s essentially a superhero, right? The guy can catch arrows and throw buildings around, and he even has a cool cape made up of a lion he killed. Looks like a superhero to me.

And oh, there’s also a new poster for the film as well, so enjoy that too, those of you who enjoy viewing such things.

Many Years ago, a tormented Demigod walked the earth: Hercules was the powerful son of the god king Zeus. For this, he received nothing but suffering for his entire life. After twelve arduous years of labor and the loss of his family, the dark and world-weary soul turned his back on the gods, finding his only solace in combat. Over the years, he warmed to the company of six similar friends, their only bond being their love of fighting and presence of death. These men and women never questioned where they would go to fight or why or whom, just how much they would be paid – until the King of Thrace hired them to train his men to become the greatest army of all time. It was time for the group of lost souls to finally have their eyes opened to see how far they have fallen, when they must train an army to become as ruthless and bloodthirsty as their reputation has become.

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Irina Shayk, Peter Mullan, John Hurt, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Aksel Hennie, and Reece Ritchie.

Things get mighty this July 25th.

Looking pretty good. A decent amount of the original mythology is in here, but they’re still telling their own story. Okay God of War movie now please!

  • Aegon the Conqueror

Any time someone shouts out, “I am…” I always think of Andy Whitfield shouting “I am Spartacus!”

Sigh! As do I! So glad that was the final image from the series after the credits. Also I can’t hear Kill Them All without hearing his voice!

They just need to make a God of War film…imagine God of War 3’s opening Poseidon boss fight in live action…*drools*

Been saying that for a long time now. And every time a new one of these comes out I hope we get closer. GoW is truly epic in scale and story.
