I still can’t believe Rupert Sanders’ version of Snow White is so vastly different than Tarsem Singh’s. One is “Lord of the Rings”-lite and the other is, well, I don’t know what the other is going for. Kooky, colorful nonsense, would be my guess. It will be incredibly interesting to see which one audiences go for — the super serious, action-oriented version, or the silly, wonky looking version. The box office shall tell the tale when Singh’s “Mirror Mirror” opens this Friday and Sanders’ “Snow White and the Huntsman” follows up in June.
Until then, check out two new TV spots for Sanders’ version, including an extended, minute-long spot. I still can’t get over how ridiculously alluring Charlize Theron is in this thing. I know she’s the villain and she’s trying to eat Kristen Stewart’s heart and everything, but, um, enslave, me, Charlize, enslave me now!
Anyhoo. The dark fairytale co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone, Dave Legeno, Edgar Wright, Lily Cole, Stephen Graham, Bob Hoskins, and Eddie Marsan.
Getting a piece of that juicy Kristen Stewart heart June 1, 2012.
