Looks like someone’s got a smart manager.
That someone would be UFC women’s champ Ronda Rousey, who is following in the footsteps of another former MMA champ named Gina Carano, who has carved out quite a career for herself in big-budget movies using her God given natural talents to beat the crap out of people.
After signing on to bust some heads in Stallone’s “The Expendables 3”, Ronda Rousey has now hopped onboard James Wan’s upcoming “Fast and Furious 7”.
No word on what her character will be, but part 7 will have a new director in Wan, but return all the (surviving) castmembers from the last few movies. Franchise star Vin Diesel has promised that the sequel will take place in Los Angeles, with a new villain in Jason Statham on the hunt for our heroes.
Production is expected to kick off this Fall.
Just in time, we’re told, for Rousey to do both “Fast and Furious 7” and “The Expendables 3” and still be in fighting shape for a December 28 match with one Mischa Tate. I guess that’s good, for those of you who enjoy watching chicks bashing each other in the head.
