UnCage Him, Green Hornet! Nic Cage Drops Out of Seth Rogen’s Movie
Comic Book Movie News, Green Hornet (2010) Movie — By Nix on September 8, 2009
Apparently Nicolas Cage’s role in Seth Rogen and Michel Gondry’s “The Green Hornet” was never a done deal, because Heat Vision Blog is reporting that, after negotiations for the actor and studio fell through, Cage has now left the project and the studio is on the look out for another actor to play the movie’s main bad guy.
Luckily for all involved, Cage hasn’t shown up on set yet, and hasn’t been involved in shooting, which has already commenced as you can see from these set images here. That means no reshoots.
Of course, this leaves room for Cage to star in another 20 movies in 2010. That’s what Cage does, you know, lots and lots of movies. Some really bad ones, a lot of really mediocre ones, and maybe one or two worthwhile ones in the bunch. That’s just how he rolls.
