Unused H2: Halloween Trailer

H2: Halloween 2 (2009) Movie, Horror Movie News, Videos — By Nix on August 19, 2009

The bloody blokes at Bloody-Disgusting have gotten their hands on this unused trailer for Rob Zombie’s upcoming “H2: Halloween”, his sequel to his 2007 remake of John Carpenter’s seminal slasher flick. As far as I can tell, there are some new footage in this trailer, plus the music sounds different. Other than that, I don’t see a whole lot of difference between this trailer and the previously released official ones, but I could be wrong.

Michael Myers is still at large and no less dangerous than ever. After a failed reunion to reach his baby sister at their old home, Laurie Strode is immediately taken to a hospital to be treated by the wounds that had been afflicted by her brother a few hours ago. However, Michael isn’t too far off and will continue his murdering ‘Halloween’ rampage until he gets his sister all to himself.

Starring Scout Taylor-Compton, Tyler Mane, Malcolm McDowell, Brad Dourif, Sheri Moon Zombie, Danielle Harris, Caroline Williams, Howard Hesseman, Angela Trimbur, Brea Grant, Margot Kidder, and directed by Rob Zombie.

Michael comes home — again — August 28, 2009.

I am actually really excited to see this movie because it does look incredibly freaky, the first movie was very good and it was pretty graphic with the killings and the sex, love it.
The second I could see a bloody disgusting massacre occuring that with just chill the whoile audience in the theatres or at home even if they watch it twice in a row they still feel fear by it. I get chills from just watching the trailer on t.v.

I’m glad someone took on the Halloween saga. I like the fresh, new approach far more than anything after Halloween 5 and on. Sure the original Halloween’s one and two rocked ass, but lets face it the last few were no better than the Friday the 13th sequels. Atleast Zombie is keeping it alive and although it takes on the word “remake” it still has enough difference and variety than just doing everything as an original would. <That would be boring knowing exactly whats going to happen.
Back in the day John Carpenter and Debra Hill took their vision from the book which neither of them wrote. I heard pleanty of bitching about how the book was better than the movie? Theres no winners here and everyone has their own opinions. Those who don't think its a good idea to remake Halloween don't go to see it. You know you still will but just do so with an open mind. It doesn't make you a trader for liking the new Halloweens. I'm just glad Myers legend is still alive atleast for one more. And for those who hate the idea of how Laurie looks and who vision of darkness. Just imagine this happening you too would be a bloody mess. Besides wouldn't it be plain stupid to remake the movie and have it set back in the 70's again? Change is good. Lighten up.
