Update on Josh Harnett’s I Come with the Rain, New Images

So what’s up with the Josh Harnett-starrer “I Come With the Rain”? Your guess is as good as mine. Okay, my guess is now better than yours. The Tran Ahn Hung-directed film will be making its South Korean theatrical bow on October 15, 2009 from CJ Entertainment (check out the film’s Korean poster to the left), but before that, the film will be competing in the 2009 Pusan International Film Festival, with stars Josh Hartnett and Lee Byung-Hun on scene for promotional purposes. Besides the Korean poster, we also have a new batch of images from the movie.

Ex-Los Angeles cop turned private eye Kline (Hartnett) travels to Hong Kong in search of Shitao, the missing son of a chinese billionaire. Enlisting Meng Zi (Wu) a friend and a former colleague now working for the Hong Kong Police, Kline follows a faint trail left by the ethereal Shitao. The path leads to local gangster Su Dongpo (Lee) and his beautiful, drug addicted girlfriend Lili (Tran). But Kline is distracted from his search, haunted by memories of the serial killer Hasford (Koteas)whose ‘body of work’ was the reason Kline quit the police force. Will Kline once again need to lose his mind to find his latest quarry?

Starring Josh Hartnett, Byung-hun Lee, Elias Koteas, Simón Andreu, Takuya Kimura, Shawn Yue, Eusebio Poncela, Tran Nu Yên-Khê, Thea Aquino, Russ Kingston, and directed by Anh Hung Tran.
