Update on Sngmoo Lee’s Laundry Warrior

Here’s a little update on Sngmoo Lee’s Western martial arts movie, “Laundry Warrior”. (And yes, we all hope that title will be changed by the time the movie starts getting its promo dough together.) Word from Variety is that the film has either already wrapped, or is about to wrap (either/or, I suppose) production in New Zealand, where it has been shooting for a couple of months now. And oh yeah, a little image from the movie has finally made its way online. Yes, it’s just a tiny image of Kate Bosworth (as Lynne) and Korean actor Dong-Kun Jang as Yang, but you know, at this point, we’ll take what we can get.

“Laundry Warrior” follows an Asian warrior who flees to the American West, only to end up in a town being menace by some bad dudes. He’s forced to kick some ass and take some names, and sometimes he doesn’t even bother with the names part. Okay, so the film is a bit of a mystery, even now, but that’s the upshot of the plot, give or take.
