You gotta give him credit, ol Uwe Boll has some serious balls hanging between those two German legs of his. While everyone and their momma is running away to avoid opening their movie opposite Spielberg and Lucas’ “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”, Boll has taken the other path, and is opening his movie “Postal” against it in the same week. Yup. The man is either off his rockers, or he’s a marketing genius. You decide.
“On the Indiana Jones weekend – May 23 – we will go out and destroy Indiana Jones in the box office!” the German director of House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark and In the Name of the King told the MovieSet website. “We all know that Harrison Ford is older then my grandpa and his time is up – as Michael Moore would say!”
The dude didn’t stop there. “It’s also a duel of two directors,” Boll added. “Spielberg gets sloppy. We saw that with War of the Worlds and also in parts of Jaws, E.T. and Munich. My cameo in as a Nazi Theme Park Owner easily outdoes Ben Kingsley performance in Schindler’s List!”
Heh heh. I love this guy.
What’s “Postal” about? It’s supposed to be a spoof/ultra-violent movie/piece of shit. You know, “a Uwe Boll movie.”
