Okay, maybe not full-scale. It’s essentially “Prison Break’s” Dominic Purcell and an assault rifle going around killing everyone in suits cause they’re obviously eeeeeeevil. In terms of Uwe Boll moviemaking, that’s kinda like a full-scale assault. (Yeah, let’s go with that…)
If the film is supposed to pander to the whole Occupy Wall Street movement, it’s probably about a year too late. As a straight-up action movie, it doesn’t look entirely bad, and it did cast right with Eric Roberts playing one of the slimy evil guys in suits. I don’t know what Edward Furlong is doing in there, though.
Jim is an average New Yorker living a peaceful life with a well paying job and a loving family. Suddenly, everything changes when the economy crashes causing Jim to lose his job, home and wife. Filled with anger and rage, Jim snaps and goes to extreme lengths to seek revenge for the life taken from him.
“Assault on Wall Street” also stars Erin Karpluk, John Heard, Lochlyn Munro, Michael Pare and Keith David.
The assault commences this May 10, 2013, though in very limited release, so for you diehard Uwe Boll fans out there, VOD/iTunes is probably your best bet. Or you could wait a little while longer, because film is currently scheduled to hit DVD/Blu-ray July 30, 2013.
