I think Vanessa would do great as Leah Clearwater. I think she’s a great actor and would fit the part. Those that have spoken against her are probably just jealous of her talent. She’s got the look for the part and she can act. I think people need to let the director make the film how he knows best. I mean, I wonder if Taylor Lautner (baby face) can really play Jacob Black. But – we’ll see in the movie. The fans need to lighten up.

Totally agree! VH should NOT be in any Twilight movie, I honestly think they screwed up with the first film, HOPEFULLY the director of the Golden Compass will be able to save New Moon, and HONESTLY I WANT Drew to direct, she’s amazing, and hopefully they’ll stick more to the books instead of butchering the rest of the series.

i think its a stupid idea why cant we have the same director or casting people as they have for harry potter i love twilight but this is just a terrible idea if thye want angry twilight fans then let them do what they want. why can’t stephnie meyer just pick the actors and actreses she thinks would be best for these role and some new commers.

I just understand why Vanessa Hudgens is even being considered, I just feel that she wont eveeen bring the right vibe to the movies at all just like Dakota Fanning I mean Jane’s role was not a child she only looked child-like BECAUSE SHE’S A VAMPIRE TOO HELLLOOOO People, she a wrong choice too. She would be a mistake and one of the worst Leah Clearwaters there would ever be. I agree with katie I would love to see her die as Irena in Breaking Dawn.
She’s incompetent, inadequate, naive, and annoying. And it seems like she was just using Disney Channel.

Therefore, no she shouldn’t be Leah Clearwater or any other main character in the Twilight series.
